Rotation control

The Rotation Control is an optional feature designed to monitor the proper operation of CAMLogic rotary level sensors. This system outputs a signal indicating shaft rotation: when the shaft rotates freely, a microswitch detects the movement of the motor gear wheel. If rotation is detected, a pulse signal with a frequency between 40 and 70 Hz (8 pulses per rotation) is transmitted between terminals 1 and 4. If motion is not detected, including due to no power supply to the instrument, the signal is interrupted, indicating that the instrument has stopped. This system enables early detection of any operational anomalies, ensuring continuous and reliable monitoring of industrial processes.

Benefits

  • Remote Monitoring: Allows remote verification of the correct operation of the level indicator.
  • Immediate Detection of Anomalies: Promptly reports any malfunctions, level indicator power failures, or rotating shaft blockages.
  • Increased Operational Efficiency: Reduces downtime through prompt detection of problems.
  • Improved Reliability: Ensures constant and accurate control of the measurement process.

CAMLogic recommends:

CAMLogic strongly recommends the installation of this option especially for level sensors intended for reporting the maximum material level in the container.
