CaReDi designs and builds complete plants customer-designed. Founded in 1972 in Sant'Elena di Silea (Treviso), over the years it has specialized in machinery for the production of feed, pet food and pellets. Today CaReDi consists of a team of about thirty people and is administered by the children and grandchildren of the three founding brothers. With nearly fifty years of experience, CaReDi has become synonymous with reliability, strength, precision and prestige in the world of animal feed.
CaReDi needed level sensors:
The feed industry requires specific certifications that guarantee the quality of the manufacturing process and finished products. Quality is the first priority, but it is also essential to maintain plant safety with instruments certified for hazardous areas.
CAMLogic has proposed the ATEX-certified PFG05 rotary paddle level switch. With a die-cast aluminum body and threaded connection to the G 2" ½ process or with a mounting flange. This model of level switch is characterized by paddle sensors made of nylon or stainless steel, the functioning of which is based on the continuous rotation of the paddle which, upon encountering the resistance of the material, stops causing a microswitch to be activated and thus giving signal of the presence of the material itself. In addition, the level indicator for solids, PFG05, is particularly suitable under severe working conditions and continuous rhythms.
The feed industry is among the major sectors that make use of equipment designed for explosive atmospheres areas; an aspect that CaReDi has been able to satisfy with CAMLogic products. Indeed, CaReDi chose to purchase the PFG05 level indicator, which comes with ATEX certification. In addition, this indicator is ideal for a company that exports 30-40% of its production abroad and therefore needs to install a level sensor that is strong to sustained production rates, time, and requires the least amount of maintenance.

However, sometimes 1 m long unprotected unprotected extensions are also used, which can be added directly to the instruments during assembly so that they can be easily adjusted to the actual length needed.
